
Bookarama 2021 is almost here! Preparation is already well underway with Rotarians and volunteers collecting and sorting hundreds of books which the wider community have generously donated.

If you still need to make room on your book case for your new Bookarama bargains you still have time to donate your books, including during the event itself.
Bookarama is to be held at 145 Thames St, Oamaru - the former Noel Leemings premises and you can drop your books there during the times listed below, as well as during the Bookarama even itself.
Bookarama opens to sell books on Tuesday 25th May and runs through to Sunday 30th May and we will also accept books during the event if you aren't able to get them to us prior.
Collection hours are 10am to noon on the following days (collecting only, not selling at these times sorry):

Bookarama Oamaru Prices
The vast majority of books are $2 but there are a few exceptions as follows.
Books published since 2015 are on the following scale:
Published 2021 and 2020 $10
2019 $9
2018 $8
2017 $7
2016 $6
2015 $5
Children’s books are $2 but books for little ones are four for $2.
CDs and DVDs $2 - particularly good selection this year, but they sell quick!
Jigsaw puzzles $4, some never-opened boxes priced a bit higher.
Mills and Boon are a bargain at 10 for $5.
Everything else is $2 unless otherwise priced, such as rare books. Look for the yellow dots for this year's prices.
